My son has no clue what VHS is, as we haven't had a video player since he was born. He knows what CDs are, DVDs, BluRays, mini-discs (PSP variant) etc. But if you asked him to put a VHS video on or play a cassette tape, he'd look blankly at you I think.

So it woukd be safe to say thaty he wont know what an 8track casette is then:clap:

you had

BetaMax Better pic than VHS but very short Tapes this is why it flopped

V2000 had a long tape run as you could turn it over complicated to use

VHS had the best of both worlds

Coupe

Wasn't the 128k ZX Spectrum actually about 3 models down the line? The 128k + and +2 (with built in cassette and the later one still with the built in disk) came after. There was that dodgy looking one with no raised keys ZX81 and then there was the next one with the rubber keys (which was the '84 I think). It's been 25-30 years so I can't remember the exact details but I think that was about right

anyone remember 'Horrice goes skiing' and 'Leapfrog'?

The ZX Spectrum was available in 16K and 48K with a rubber keyboard then the 16K model was dropped and the spectrum had a 'real' keyboard. This was called the Spectrum+. Sinclair then released their 128K Spectrum +. Amstrad then bought sinclair and made soulless shite versions called +2 with a tape deck and the +3 with a data drive. By this time nobody cared as they all owned Amiga's and Atari ST's lol.

Sinclairs first computer was the ZX80 and it was available as a kit that you made yourself. Then a pre made ZX80 with a better rom chip, and finally the ZX81. They built calculators and watches before that.

And Horrice goes skiing was great but then so was Chequered Flag. lol

Coupe

lol!!! What makes it a coupe insted of a hatch?? on my V5 its a coupe. But i always thought in a coupe from the boot you cannot get into the front of the car??

I was being pedantic :D , but the 300zx is officially a coupe. Its a saloon that you cant get from the boot to the passenger compartment.

The definition between Coupe and Hatchback is vague though, I believe a coupe will come as 2 door only and have a lower roof line and can come as a 2+2 rather than regular 4/5 seater.

I had this argument many years ago with someone who really knew what each definition of a car meant (i.e. he was a much older person than any of us are now and was around before those definitions started getting mish-mashed into stupid names like a 'super-mini' and a 'luxury-saloon'). According to the original definition of the word, according to him (Not me, him) a coupe is a 2 door sporty shape, with a boot, not a hatch, a low, sweeping roofline and a large bonnet.

For what it's worth.....

And for everything else - a 300zx, which ever version from 2+2, 2+0, NA, TT, auto or manual, they are all good.....

....which is why we have one and why we are members of this club.....

Richard:sweatdrop::wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

So apparently the SWB is a reps car for them to cart around their 'wares' then :D

Business coupé

A coupé with no rear seat or a removable rear seat intended for traveling salespeople and other vendors who would be carrying their wares with them.

That orange shortie belonged to my mate last year............. That's it parked next to my slikie
