Depends on your insurer many yes its more because they dont realise its the same car. Try sky preyty sure they dont.

Welcome to the site bud. Insurance companies that get mentioned here for the 300zx as giving the best prices are:

Footman James, Graham Sykes, Sky Insurance, Heritage, Swinton, Lynbrook, Houghtons, Broadsure and Admiral.

Let us know how it goes, im interested to hear:thumbup:

If you're over 30 try this place - just been quoted £160 fully comp for a 2 seater non turbo shorty and i'm 31 with no no claims on a second car.

My JDM was insured by them and they paid out straight away when I wrote it off. Was the cheapest quote I could find at the time.

Admiral are also really good and are very realistic with their appraisal of any mods.

That's good news, my dad's with them too so it's nice to know someone's actually had a good experience when something bad happens.

I'd only had the policy for a month as well :) And hadn't even got round to sending in the photo's for agreed value. It took them 2 days to send an inspector to check the car out and he called me that day with an offer. He'd even taken into account that it had a brand new mongoose system on the back and upped the offer for it. He then arranged for me to buy the car back.

Can't fault the service. Just a pity a JDM had to die :whistling:

Hmm thats Fair enough, when i tried them they wanted 8.5k, for a N/A

21, 1 yr NCB, Good Area, No claims, 3k miles a year, 1500 value = 8.5k lol

Jason at MCE got me a much better policy for 1300> Happy Bunny lol

Adrian flux for me just out priced me, i think they do that for some reason, they wanted 4800 a year fully comp, at the time i was 31 with 2 years no claims on a second car, where do they get there prices from? asda was just as bad at 4700, went with lynbrook car insurance and been with them since, i now pay 330 fully comp 8k miles a year all mods declared.

Adrian Flux was the one I went with after I got fed up searching,£385 for me comp.250excess zero no claims as it's on the daily ride 2000miles i am an OAP clean license and no claims.I tried to argue with the others that they are all made in Japan to the same spec apart from fog lights but they wouldn't listen just rip you off for having a import badge fairlady.

Im paying £106 with sureterm with 2 years NCB and limited mileage 7000

I think we have a winner :dance::nana2::dance:

That's the cheapest I've heard of..
