I'm wanting to fit an auto closer kit to close my windows and bring my mirrors in when I lock the car then bring the mirrors back out when I unlock it.

I've found many auto window closer kits for sale but none mention anything about mirror capabilities.

I presume I would need an auto closer that also sends a signal out when it's unlocked too.

Any auto electricians done something like this before and could steer me in the right direction of what I need and if it's even possible...

ive only ever fitted these to cars that already have auto tuck mirrors not sure if these can be retro fitted, it looks sweet as when you lock the car and the mirrors tuck away

is this dave that works at atlas? neways... yeah corse you can you just nee dto work out a way of connecting the control that closes the wing mirrors and opens it bit of fancy letric work thats all. groover will probally be able to tell you .

This is what I have and when I press and hold the alarm remote button the windows roll up.

Now I have spent all week trying for this to work my mirrors as well and I am going insane, the bottom line is it doesn't work or I have not got it to work with the stock switch when I press 'out' :cursing: and this is down to the pcb inside it and anyway once the windows have lifted it shuts down whether the mirrors are in or not and I do know the mirrors only take 3 secs to close but if the windows are only a bit down then it will leave the mirrors NOT fully in.

I have concluded I need another module linked in and my auto electric guy is getting the job as I am at the end of my tether :headvswal Haha saying that I will probably have another go tomorrow!!!

If you want it to work every time you use the car and I don't, then I suggest something like this

I'm not an auto electrician but still an electrician. Gonna mash my head into it a bit this weekend unless someone can tell me how it's done etc...

...and no, I don't work for Atlas.

Yeah I'll prob get one o thos modules as they're quite cheap, I just don't see them being able to flick my mirrors back out when I unlock...

I've had auto closure systems that will lock all doors and role up windows , never mirrors (if they where folding or not)

would be good if it can be done though!!

well i say lots maybe 10 in dorset and hants most are garage bound. its normal the same ones. still a rare beast. round here they seem to be more. many places they have never seen another one other than thier own. the south coast has 3 of the uks most high powered zeds.

I know that there is a few in and around northants, but at the minute in corby mines is the only one that I have seen out and about at this time of the year
