The top of my dash, along the front edge of the vent, is lifting and I was wandering if anyone has come up with a solution that doesnt involve removing the dash.i was thinking along the lines of a plate the same shape as the vent that would screw onto it with an overlap that sits on top of the dash and will pull the lifted section down as its screws down.

 

Anyone done anything similar?

They dont come up for sale to often but you could make your own.

The carbon fibre one in the link seemed expensive for what it is.ill see if I can get the vent out and sort it out.cheers for the replies guys :)

also consider the problem that there is no way (I can think of) to screw anything down as you can hardly get your hand there let alone a screwdriver...

there is a way of doing this with a hairdryer some tennis balls and some glue.
