For me it was thinking my headunit had packed up. I turned it on to listen to some tunes while I was working in the zed and no sound!

Couldn't understand why it wasn't working so I messed about with all the settings, then I noticed something quite important :detective:

My speakers are in the garage cos I hadn't put them back in since my repsray  What a tool :death:

Lack of sleep, was just totally out of it. Still waiting to find out if the machine took it back in or if someone took it....

There was no-one behind me and the machine gives you 5 seconds before sucking it back in, but honestly, I suspect its long gone. Sainsbury's where I withdrew the cash said if their CCTV cameras show someone taking the money they'll pass it to the Police but I think I just kissed goodbye to it really. Would rather have given it to someone than have some theiving tw@t take it, but its my own stupid fault. I hate working nights, they totally f**K me up!

Drove off without paying for Fuel yesterday ! Mind was seriously elsewhere.

Got a couple of Miles down the road before realizing. F*ck!, Sped back there, rushed in, apologised.......and the staff hadn't even noticed.

Well ok so it wasn't this week but thought I'd share it with you

I picked up a van from work to move some of my kit and thought that I'd pop upstairs and have a chat with the guys that I used to work with, so I parked up in the boss man's parking space thinking, 'it'll be fine as I'll only be five minutes' so I left the engine running and ran upstairs

I got a bit distracted shall we say.....

anyway, the following morning I'm back upstairs and chatting with the guys again when somebody walked into the office and says 'do you guys know anything about the white Sprinter van parked in the bosses spot, he's asking about it'

It was then that I realised that after I finished chatting to me ex colleagues the day before, I'd left and gone down a different stairwell, jumped into 'my' car and headed home!

I'd only gone and left the bloody van, with the engine running, in the bosses parking space over night!!

I ran downstairs and sure enough, it was still running

doh!!

Ring your bank and get it refunded, my brother did this a few months ago, checked his balance then just walked away for some dumb ass reason, left his card all logged in, needless to say the person behine helped themselves to £250 off his card. he told the bank and they replaced his card and the money.

All part and parcel of my injuries after the accident unfortunately.....but justifiably so, the dog wasn't impressed!

Been to the bank and basically if someone took it, its tough. Going to pop into my branch tomorrow but I've checked online and its not back in my account :hammer:

  • 3 weeks later...
Left £100 in the cashpoint after my last night shift. Gutted isn't the word.

Well, after a visit to my bank last week and a few checks, I got my £100 back! Nothing short of a miracle smiley-dance001.gif

Good news.....now don't do it again

Daftest thing ive done this week is being up to my chest in a canal doing up scaffolding fittings when the temp was only 1.5 degrees.........and as for the water.....i dont know how water can be soooo cold with no ice on it!.i did have chest waders on but at one point the water went over the top of them.the water was only about 18 inches deep......the rest was mud! :(

spent 3 hours digging a hole today then me and the boss put soem sheet over it to keep the pipework clean. was about 3 foot deep so we moved some bits to make it hard to acess the area. i stood strauight over the hole fell in.

your lucky "interesting" stuff happens to me all the time i was rather staertled the other day to find a jirraffe or however you spell it .that cross breed thing between a lanky necked african cow and a brontosarus. in the middle of a field in dorset in the winter and no it werent marwell tahts in hampshire. thankfully it was clearly made of papermashae on closer inspection thankfully.

Yeah I've seen this mate ^^^ on the left hand side as you head up the M5 north bound I think it was; we followed the shat-nav to Exmouth and we missed our turning, next thing we see is exactly that....a bloody giraffe in a field???

may have moved as it wasnt there this time theres plently of odd stuff round here. osterich farm a life sized staue of a camel in some ones front garden that sorta thing lol can get a bit confusing.

Luckily nothing on the zed, but on saturday go to tescos bank machine, there are 3 all with people queuing up, wait for my turn, put card in, enter pin number, withdraw £30. remove card and walk off into tescos, bit of shopping, get to the checkout, go to pay, where's that money i just withdrew??

Then realised i hadnt taken the cash out of the machine and in my rush to by beer had walked off to early.

Cant believe whoever was in the queue behind me didnt mention it to me as i walked off or that they didnt go and hand it in at customer service.

So my bits of food and beer would have cost me £14.20, but actually cost me £44.20

:taz:

ive done that with 200 once went back ,was long gone
