For me it was thinking my headunit had packed up. I turned it on to listen to some tunes while I was working in the zed and no sound!

Couldn't understand why it wasn't working so I messed about with all the settings, then I noticed something quite important :detective:

My speakers are in the garage cos I hadn't put them back in since my repsray  What a tool :death:

ROFLMFAO! That's just awesome. Don't think I've done anything daft this week yet.

Luckily nothing on the zed, but on saturday go to tescos bank machine, there are 3 all with people queuing up, wait for my turn, put card in, enter pin number, withdraw £30. remove card and walk off into tescos, bit of shopping, get to the checkout, go to pay, where's that money i just withdrew??

Then realised i hadnt taken the cash out of the machine and in my rush to by beer had walked off to early.

Cant believe whoever was in the queue behind me didnt mention it to me as i walked off or that they didnt go and hand it in at customer service.

So my bits of food and beer would have cost me £14.20, but actually cost me £44.20

:taz:

ha,ha ^^^^^ not good :(

Last week I loaded my trailer with some materials for the job, mixer, planks, shovels and some nice long battons that stuck over the top of the trailer, drove off out the lock up and a massive crash on my new beautiful shiny mercedes vito, I had hit the top bar on the lock up gates (a piece of 7x2 timber) and it flew off cracked my centre brake light, smashed my rear lights, dented the roof and scrached the doors , I was fooooookkkkkiiiin fuming :(((((((((

Oh and smashed the little light from the trailer, doh!!! first day back to work syndrome :(

Just last night you tried to screw the tub lid onto the coffee jar, stood turning it for ages until you eventually looked down and laughed at yourself. :)

oh yeah, but that was AFTER I said I didn't think I'd done owt daft yet this week :D

EDIT: No it wasn't, because I only said that today. What a SHITE day it's been! I'm going to bed I think :(

Stupedist thing I've done this week was pulling out of a junction too quick a couple of hours ago and had a big smash with an audi tt  was in the merc ml430 rather than the zed thankfully but its made a right old mess of it, insurance said they were taking it to merc so it'll be a write off I guess :cursing:

Nothing daft personally but caught my wife doing a few daft things recently !

Like de-icing her wind screen with boiling water from the kettle, when I asked her

what she was doing she said I saw you doing it !

Yeh I said - I used the kettle but I never boiled the bloody thing,

Luckily she never shattered the glass.

Another time she used my Stanley knife to separate a 4 pack of 2 litre coke bottles

as again she seen me doing it - of course this ended in disaster as the knife was a new

blade and it sliced a hole down once side of the coke bottle which also was just dropped

recently causing the contents to fizz out all over the kitchen floor !

^^ LOL

not this week but a few months ago my mum told me she got into her KA, closed the door, put her seatbelt on as normal, reached for the steering wheel ONLY THEN did she realise she was sat in the passenger seat!!:lol: bless her.

Not this week, but a couple weeks ago I had to take our chest freezer and it's contents tote skip after it had all defrosted.

It was only once I got back I realised it wasn't the freezer that had broken, it was actually the extension lead it was running off!

I've still not told the wife

Got my Royal Mail van wedged in an archway between two flats today.

The sign on the archway said I should be small enough by 2 inches, unforunately it lied lol.

I'll post pics when I get them off Royal Mail lol

Ouch, how did you manage that?

Lack of sleep, was just totally out of it. Still waiting to find out if the machine took it back in or if someone took it....
