Blind bearing puller perhaps?

chisel and hammer, hit the inside the ring hard, it should pop out, dont damage the crank.

Us site recommends using 1 leg of a 3 leg puller, inside to tap out. Look at the walkthru over there

I NORMAL use grease and a bar of similar size as end of box and put as much grease as u can inside the hole and put the tube in a hit with hammer props a couple of times and it should pop out

that works on the manual spigot, the auto box spigot didn't move for sh.. when i tried it.

Yeah Mikey took a dremel grinding bit to the auto spigot on Roses yellow Z when doing the conversion. Daves is a manual already though.

 

EDIT: Just realised he's got your engine, ignore me, I'm sure you usually do anyway, lol.

the other suggestion they came up with is to tap wind in a bolt or a bolt attached to a slide hammer. :)

I get them out with a bearing puller o n a slide hammer,two taps and they fall out easy,its a blue point hammer and cost £75.works a treat :yes:

hammer copper tube in it will flare out then pull out.

if your talking about the auto spigot i made a puller took me about a minute to pull it out

on my NA engine I am currently building up it has a roller bearing in here, but the one I fitted in the TT was a like a copper sleeve. Are the TTs and NAs different then?

Well in the end it took 10mins to remove it. I grinded half way thro it and the hit the long crow baron it turning it half way each time.

Popped out rather easily.
