Hi,

I have a problem with my new Z32 TT I've just bought a week ago, earlier today it started making a very loud whistling noise under load/in boost. It sounds like a police siren (note/pitch raising with boost and dropping when dropping out of boost).

I thought it might be a boost leak but have checked everything I can get to and no problems I can see, and the noise seems to be coming from around the RHS turbo area.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks is advance.

That had crossed my mind but I though I'd just do it myself, not only will it be cheaper, but once I've done it, I'll know how too. So if I ever need to do it again in the future it'll be a doddle.

they just dont know the ins and outs of the vg lump, and because its so tight they get put off. but at least the admitted they dont wanna get involved rtahre than pretending they can do it and ****ing it up. as has already been said its probally a leaking line or a rust hole. best thing to do is get under there and clean it all up. with that amount coming out you will so see what its coming out of. take a pic we can identify it and then go from there as to how to replace it.

If the turbo's cooked then it's going to have to come out anyway, also I can replace any other coolant/oil lines that look on the way out, and maybe a few mods if I'm not too frustrated with getting it out and just wanting it done and dusted. :taz:

It's being sorned in feb anyway so i'll have all spring to do it, so no rush. Probably will be asking lots of questions on here throughout :tongue_smilie:

Hopefully be back on the road for the summer.
