Hi all... my window washer light came on and i topped up with fluid... but the light won't go off...? Any ideas....? oh and merry crimbo to all...have a good one...

Could be corrosion on the connector, if you still have them on, its accessible from behind the drivers side front wheel arch liner, failing that and you don't mind, take the bulb out from behind the dash, not every car has a low washer fluid level warning light, so just remember to top up before the MOT.

mine did this the other day. I put it down to a sticky float. went over a few bumps and it went alright :)

Cheers car mad mine sort of just fixed itself .. so could have been the same...

One point to make is always use proper screen wash, not Fairy liquid (other dishwashing liquids are available :) ) as over time Fairy liquid etc can 'gum' washer pumps up and cause level indicators to stick :)

I never use screen wash, just water because im a tight arse :lol:

 

naaa I never use it because it leaves streak marks on the black paint.
