NA vs TT Engine Block???

NA and TT engine blocks.

Are they the same???

Ie can you rebuild a TT engine with a duff bock using an NA block.????

 

All the rest of the TT engine is useable so question relates to bare block really.

 

Anyone know???

    Going out on a limb here........but ,yes can't see a prob.Obviously the N/A has the oil squirters but doesn't have oil feeds/returns for tubs. Comp ratio is different but all 'get roundable'

    Na block don't have oil cooler pipes coming off it

     

    Correct me if im wrong but there fed from the oil tree and return via the sump, so dont have anything to do with the block itself?

    tt block,crank and rods are identical to an n/a,oil pumps were changed for tt models.Other components are different also like the piston jets.hth.
