I guess them tyres are 'stretched'? what size do you think, as the ones on my wheels have a flat sidewall (265/35 R18s)...

All my suspension arms are adjustable so wouldnt mind trying to achieve the same look with spacers etc.

Also, whats going on with the sills, seems much wider? does it have skirts fitted if so which ones?!

Stretching tyres is not good, it effects the handling, the tyre and the alloys as a lot easier to kerb.

Easier to curb, definately agree

but as for handling, from my experience recently I would suggest that it's not always the case

as with anything there are numerous variables

some interesting points are raised in this thread (below)

I dont chuck my car around anyway, more interested in acceleration and besides the car hardly moves  heard some horror stories but I dont want mad stretch or anything.

18" x 10" ET +23 (255's)

Uhhh dude you need to get higher profile tyres if you are going to stretch 255's, that concaved sidewall is a tyre pop off waiting to happen.

Always horror stories, mostly from things like my above post of people trying to stretch tyres that are of a very low profile, 265 35 you can get away with but something like a 255 needs a 40.

If you really want it to go like stink, stick in an n/a diff.... will require n/a subframe and hub carriers, you'll also need rear toe arms, and the rear drive shaft half of an n/a.

Indeed mate, I have the full setup sat in the garage ready to fit! Only just got my car running well after an engine swap, so now its time for goodies like boost controller etc, and rear subframe swap! cant wait! :cool3:

You are absolutely right of course, the profile on those tyres (rather than the fact that they are 255s on a 10" wide rim) was too low and hence those rims aren't on the shortie' anymore....

though I blame the road works that buckled the inner rim for the tyre coming off....possibly due in part to the low profile :whistling:
