I guess them tyres are 'stretched'? what size do you think, as the ones on my wheels have a flat sidewall (265/35 R18s)...

All my suspension arms are adjustable so wouldnt mind trying to achieve the same look with spacers etc.

Also, whats going on with the sills, seems much wider? does it have skirts fitted if so which ones?!

A 265 width tyre will obviously looked stretched on a wider wheel than yours Baz. To get a stretched look on yours then go narrower.

Looks the same as mine. Its the off set or the width of the wheel. Basically the wheel stick out to far and the tyre has to be stretched to get it to fit.

So what size tyre would I need to make it look like that? 245? 235? think my rears are 9.5" or 10"

It will never look like that without spacers. Mine are 10" wide on 265 and there stretched, so yours will be 8.5" or 9"

But im goint to try and fit 275's on but they may rub. Im not keen on streched tbh

And then space accordingly, hard to tell from the pics but looks like you'd need a 5/10mm spacer. Not sure how much stretch you'd get going down to a 255, might be enough.

I know... car mad said mine would never be that far out without spacers, but depends on the offset. I know mine are at least 9.5" at the rear.

if your tyre size is 265 and your wall is flat you will be 8.5" or nine, a 9.5 inch with a 265 will still have a little stretch.

Here is my 265 on a 10" rim

hmmm. best get some 195s then.

ok so what about the side skirts?

That looks like mclarenf1's Z from about 2 years ago.

They are Kaminari skirts (actually powertrix copies of Kaminari skirts)

You will find the spec of the wheels/tyres on 3zc.

ok, I found the specs :

Front: 18x10 +10mm offset with a 245/40/18

Rear: 18x11 +30mm offset with a 275/35/18

His wheels stick out more than mine, i had to adjust the camber so the face of the rim was flush with the arch then a mega stretched tyre so it clears the arch. My tyre dosnt even touch the rim :wack: it hard to tell on the pics. thats why if i can i will go a size up but it will be close :(

He has less stretch than me but has gone for a crazy camber.

The skirts are that US one kaminari or something like that lol!!

thanks for the the info guys, will have to do some calculations and see whats what. I dont really like my straight tyre walls, yours looks great Alan, and the reflection of your dog always makes me laugh

Cheers matey....... He is a good dog, Max as he is formerly known

Alz.

i had 255's on my 9.5" rim and it looked stretched like that

so if your rim is 9.5 would say 245>255

Those are 10 inch wide rims running a 255.

Has kamanari side skirts fitted with kamanari door infill panels.

I like that stance, but Baz..... your not used to stretching rubber like me, it may slip off ;)

No spacers on mine yet and i'm waiting on the suspension arms but here's mine running 17x8 215's front and 18x10 265 rears.

Stretching tyres is not good, it effects the handling, the tyre and the alloys as a lot easier to kerb.
