Hi there, I am wondering how to reduce noise in the boot, Im thinking of putting layers of sound proofing either thin layers of insulation or carpet to dull out the noise of the HUGE exhausts.... Has anyone done anything like this or similar?? Cheers :scooter:

I used soundproofing, similar to dynamat but cheaper lol, did the whole car, boot, hatch even behind the plastic panels and to the rear of the panels themselves. Does make a difference.

Yeah sounds good to me,, I wanna go up behind the placky as well, I can just imagine the difference it makes... Cheers Groover....

Not sure what's easier, sound deadening all the interior or just changing the back boxes? Obviously replacing the exhaust will be more expensive but probably easier than stripping the interior? Just a thought.

Can you not get noise reducers that fit into the back box pipes? That way you could have them in for long distances and then take them out for a bit of rumble when you feel like it.

Na, it aint that bad just want to silence it in the cab a bit... Difficult i know in these sort of cars, lol, Got another motor anyway this is only used now and then... Cheers for the input..

stuff is overrated imo. My Colt is packed with dynamat extreme and I can barely tell any difference in cabin noise over my old one which didn't have any.
