Hey guys,

I have just bought myself my first 300zx this evening :thumbup: which I will post up in the Newbie section as soon as its actually in my possession!

 

The problem occurred when the transporter turned up to collect it we couldn't get it on his truck! The car is lowered and has a long front bumper and low back bumper and literally didn't stand a chance of getting onto the truck without destroying it. :cursing: Its also a non-runner so needs to be winched onto the trailer

 

Does anyone know of a car transporter that has a very low trailer, based around London or Norwich which are the pick-up and drop off points?

 

Unfortunately I don't have a vehicle with a tow bar and even if I did my license doesn't allow me to tow anything that heavy.

 

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful :biggrin:

Go to Shipley.com and ask the question on there, its well easy to use and I've used it myself this week.

Try Shane 07748377302 he took mine from Stanford le Hope to Zedworld and did a very good job

Or call Ian 07900 088602 he works with sees and jeff uses him he is very good and had no problem winching my zed with 4 flats onto his recovery truck ...

Baz, thats where I got my first guy from so just relisted it and am currently talking to a couple of people on there. One has a 4 degree tilt and slide trailer that he says will pick it up easy and the other has a low loader trailer. It's also on uship but they came out alot more expensive last time.

Kaza Steve, I called Ian but because of where they are based its not economical to go to London then Norwich and back. If it was going straight to Jeff it would have been perfect but its not going anywhere until the New Year.
