ive recently popped my sidelights into the turn signal hole in the crystal indicators, it looks great however im just not thinking they are bright enough. when i look at the new alfas and mercs with there bright led sidelights mine are no where near as bright. the one i went for was this style.

now knowing one or two things about spectral outputs and keenly following the progress of led i was thinking that smds would be better as they are generally brighter and are vibration proof. anyways. has anyone used this style for instance?

It's Canbus mate and on a Z, no!:chinese:

These seem the brightest T10's I have ever had

If you want brighter you need the 21 watt reverse or indicator bulb holders if you make your hole bigger then you can use these bulbs, same as what I have in my sig pic

I just bought a pair of these

same as the ones phutumsch said but a little cheeper. took a while to come but they do look the bee's knee's. I've still got mine in the fogs like, they do match the HID's I have quite well too.

Same here, they look far better than the blueish tint ones I had before, gonna be putting a couple in my kerb lights too...

Glad you are happy guys, when I do link it is only a quick look, up to you to shop around and search for the cheapest.

I will say this though the smd's do fail so in a bit instead of all 5 working you may end up with 3 and one of them might be flickering!!! You still get plenty of brightness even though some are 'out'.

Suggest as they are so cheap, always have some spare....I have a box full

They are daytime running lights not sidelights, and why would you want them, they're about the most awful invention in motoring history.

well get used to them because they are going to become a europeon manufacturers manadorty. :/ personally i quite like them, gives the front a mean look, and also anything that gives the dick heads round here an extra chance to see me coming is good in my eyes, it might be red and loud but they still seem to not notice it lol... the main reason wanted them is teh led sidelights look like a token guesture next to the hids
