Currently my car is fitted with a rather difficult to read speedo, its in k/ph and goes upto 300 kmph. The converter, now means that 30mph shows as 30kph so the gauge reads upto 300mph. Not very usefull. So im setting about changing this.

Ive aquired a speedo which reads upto 180 but I noticed it actually says on it kph, so now im a little confused, what do I need to do to get my car to read as if it where a uk car. And why do I have these weird clocks, as a side note my jap clocks have zsport written in the centre

Well you could just put bigger turbos and injectors and go for the 300 mph !

Or, a proper speedo conversion using 180 max on the dial and a KPH > MPH chip

What I would do is give Zedworld a buzz and ask Jeff or Jamie your best course of action because they will countless speedo consoles coming out of wreckers and probably do you a swap or at least you could get the right chip from them...

Don't know which series of zed you have but there are differences in series as to how the conversion chip is connected

i think if i pop out the 300kph clock and pop in the 180kph one the speed changer will still be the same as its resisting the kmph by a value to achive a mph figure. will be a pain in the ass if im wrong....

ROFL that'd be my choice definitely. I think you're right about the converter and a set of 180kmph clocks, it should send a signal to the clock unit, nothing more, so the clock unit should read properly. That said, a set of UK clocks would be good because you don't need the converter, but I'm after one first, I posted in the wanted section last week :D
