A have a spare rear centre panel I bought off ebay (cheap!) that appears to be a genuine nissan illuminated panel, as it came with a nissan inverter and on seperating the two parts it has a proper cut-out for the wiring connector etc.the reason I seperated the two parts was due to the fact the el sheet doesnt work and I want to replace it.

Does anyone know of anywhere in the uk that can supply a new el sheet of the correct size (approx 50mm x 300mm) that illuminates red?.have looked on ebay but the el sheets on there arent the correct size.did find one from the states the right size but they dont ship to the uk! :(

Any help or advice would be appreciated :)

Phutumsch has managed to get hold of the correct size, im sure he will be along soon

I got a genuine light up panel but that to did not work, the invertor was fine but the EL Panel not so, age had taken it's toll.

Was OEM green of course but now converted to red

I have exactly what you need for your little project but without the benefit of pee emming you I dont know how we can proceed?

Easy, Dill the dog, subscribe, the best £20.00 you will ever spend....lol.

Andy, can you illuminate the rear panel in any colour?

Yep no problem at all....as long as the colour you want is red sign0141.gif

lol, ok, I take it only red then............I wanted blue.......:sneaky2:

If you want to put up your email address on a public forum then go ahead, once I have it you can always edit it out sharpish.

The trouble with blue, it may attract the attention of the police with it being the emergency colour, and having spent time and trouble converting the panel the last thing you want is grief.

Blue inside the car yes but not on the outside.

Red is the safe option, especially on the rear, matches perfectly the back lights and looks similar in appearance to the 99 spec rear panel

Didn't the original panels light up a kind of green colour?

The el sheet that was in mine looked as though it would be a greenish colour.

Should have come through now andy.....i spelt phutumsch wrong the first time! :)

Easy done I suppose :tt2:

Thank you very much all received now

Andy, can you illuminate the rear panel in any colour?

I have made an enquiry and I can get hold of any colour, so I could actually do you a blue one Ian

I might well put an order in and have a variety all ready.

Certainly thinking of getting the blue then, green certainly, but what about yellow  not really any more colours that could be used :thumbup1:

Don't suppose you could share the wealth? I've been meaning to do this for a while but had the same problem and couldn't find the right size panel.

Thanks very much.
