clearly its an option but as there are not many 1jz engined zeds about I would say not many!! :tongue_smilie::lol:

I wouldnt. Its like ripping the heart out of the zed. Plus the zed has one of the nicest looking engines

Tbh, very few, just look round the clubs. Most that change out the vg throw in a v8. The supra engine wouldnt be cheap, plus your changing the engine layout(v for straight) what you wasted doing all that would easy get you plenty of vg power, or zn unholy twin turbo v8 monster, no brainer really.

Ive had mk3 1jz and mk4 2jz supras and to be honest they aint that more reliable then the zed engine prob with the straight 6 engine is the water pumps are nowhere near good enough and you can have serious issues with big BHP with blowing headgaskets around no 6 cylinder. was on the supra forums for years and it was a fairly common occurance.

I'm happy with the vg :)
