I don't have an i-Phone and, despite the popularity, have never really been interested.

 

My 'phone is just used as a telephone (and for the occasional photographs; or even as an alarm clock if I'm away from home). So as long as it is small, easily concealed in my pocket; and connects to the Bluetooth in my cars and makes/receives calls, I am happy with it.

 

So it's a "don't care" from me...!!

A little underwhelming but still a nice upgrade from the 4 - I have been waiting for this & will be getting one! :thumbup:

voice control - probably wont use this but the talk to text option looks useful! Probably feel a **** out in public talking to your phone like that tho! LOL!

 

a slightly bigger screen would have been a nice addition but the iphone 4 display is pretty much the best screen out there even if it is a touch smaller than some of the competition.

Well nexus prime is announced next Tuesday 2 days before the iphone 4s launch and it's going to hand it's ass to it on a plate.

 

Very disappointed with apple after waiting 2 years to upgrade my 3Gs to a 5 so i'll be making the move to Android.

 

They've leaked a couple of photos and specs (and we're not talking iphone leaks this has actually been seen and used by a few people)

 

- Curved body

- Dual core 1.5GHz processor

- 1 gig of ram and storage expandable by micro sd card (64 gig)

- All new Android Ice cream sandwich

- 8 Megapixel Camera

 

and here's the moneyshot -

 

1280 x 720 resolution AMOLED screen running 320dpi - 4.6"(!) (iphone is 3.5", is LED and 326dpi at 960 x something)

 

Having seen the same but smaller screen in the galaxy S2 i would seriously think about saving yourself for one more month and move to android and save some money for a much better phone!

 

Oh and did i mention proper 4G speed not just boosted 3G? :)

Yay!!! iPhone 4s. I'd have been pissed off if it was the iPhone 5. Ive only had me iPhone 4 for about 4 months.

 

Richard, i was the same. But like Yowser, it all changes when you have one. Time manager, email, Sat Nav, Football results etc etc etc I'd be lost without it.

 

A silly example of why its great... Looking for Z1 in Atlanta, i clicked on their website. Scrolled down to the address, click it, sat nav on. Wow!

except no 4G in the UK for at least a couple of years.

 

Paper specs suggest comparable performance with the iPhone. Larger screen is nice, at the expense of a bigger phone in your pocket, but at a lower dpi.

 

Hands its arse on a plate? no, but a competitive alternative, potentially.
