I have just been into maplin and bought a 1 mega resistor and they have given me a tiny little thing????? Cansomeone put the link up for me please for the how to as i cant seem to find it and im on my phone so cant search thanks.

    as long as its a 1 mega ohm resistor, it will be fine. connect it to the loom side not the sensor side. disconnect battery for an hour to reset ecu.

    i was looking at that yesterday, it shows the det sensor with the brown plug, which has confused me on mine, ive got this...... and dont know if its a dett bypass or not

    yeah will do i dont seem to have either plug on mine so i dont know whats happened to them! And the battery has been off for 2 months now so i hope its reset by now :lol:

     

    And in that pic the resistor i have looks about the same size so im hoping i bought the right one
