Rad change, advice.

ive now got all the bits to do this job I belive

New rad

Silicone hoses

Thermostat

Bracket

Anything else needed? Gaskets? And how high should I jack the front end to prevent/vent out any air blocks.

New hose clips?

Maybe some skin for your knuckles as youll be losing a bit of yours!!

Jack it as high as you dare, the higher the front the less likely an airlock, youll know if youve gone too far when it falls on its roof!

well i only managed to get the front about 18" off the floor, started getting a bit precarious after that. anyways about an hour later everything in back in place including the new thermostat. i was surprised after the comments people have made how ok a job this is. the 50mm japspeed rad slid straight into the tt, without me even removing the intercooler ducting.bit tight but it went in easy. my only question is with space being so tight what did you guys use to secure the front water pipes? did you reuse the clips on there? the front water pipes were absolotly mint. :D no signs of corrosion.
