I was wondering if Zeds came from the factory with a fob for the cetral locking, or was an alarm usually added to achieve locking via a fob?

I seem to remember the pulse wires were in the drivers door?

I bought this car with the air con not working - the belt was removed. I have fitted a new belt to prove that the idler etc isn't running noisy, I'm guessing now that there isn't any gas in the system. I want to get this up and running but would like to know where the pressure sensor is located so I can verify that the e/m clutch on the compressor works/rotates before shelling out for a re-gas.

Cheers.

I'm not 100% sure about JDM cars; but I don't think they came with remote alarms as car crime is not such a problem over there as in the UK. So I'd guess no to the remote locking on that basis - certainly on earlier models anyway....

....As for UK spec cars, I think that the later series 2 versions might have come with remote locking/alarms. If not, it was no doubt an optional extra....

I must dig out my sales brochure and check!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
