Its your Airflow sensor and it sits in the nose panel with your Intake filter connected to it.

 

They go for around £80-£110 second hand, relatively expensive unfortunately because they are sought after by other cars as an upgrade.

 

Typical sympton of failure is the inability to rev past 3000rpm, but intermittent failures can cause general poor running.

    i got one from Zedworld delivered the very next day and warranty included for only a few quid more than a second hand one on ebay. worth a quick call i'd say
