just asking what others on here have done to replace the wiper arms or refurb them , ....looked at buying OEM new but ...expensive !!

 

is doing the windscreen trim and targa trims difficult ...i did ask the body shop to do this when teh car was re sprayed but they just didnt do it by the look of it ( only have photos ) dont have he zed back yet...anyway loking for a winter project asits just round the corner .....ive missed out on all the summer zed action again :(

my mate sprayed my car - got him to do the scuttle panels & wiper arms in satin black - come out like new :)

i took my wiper arms round to me mate and got them powdercoated gloss black! they look superb better than original new will take a pic later.

I sprayed mine with primer and matt black paint in rattle cans, they look like new. Very easy to do.

As above, remove, sand and respray (satin black in my case) and they look a treat, I also replaced the rubbers/blades with bosch aero's.

 

Scuttle panels are next on my list, find some complete unbroken ones when I have the cash, and respray satin black is the plan !

they come out ok dont they, i was concerned they would just flake off in a few weeks ,,i supose its all down to the prep work and the effort put in ...looks like i wil be getting my dremmel out and grinding away the old flaky paint and re spraying with new satin black

Don`t worry Steve all the trim bits inc the wipers have been removed and re-coated so look as new now.
