Coming up to the A444/A5 junction for the 300th time today the guy in front started to pull out with his wheel past the line, i looked right and kept going, he'd stopped and went straight into him :headvswal

He's not taking it any further but i've now go to sort out my old silver NA.

Split the lower bumper, pulled the wing away from the side and bent the light bracket slightly.

Overall, it's fixable and hasn't damaged the metal part of the car but the wings are bonded in so means taking the side skirts off to rebuild the wing and probably near on £400-500 to repair and respray and by that point it's a case of is it worth respraying the whole car.

Ah well, on with work but i should have the parts to patch it back together Friday night so might just make it to JAE on Saturday.

Thinking it's his silver NA by the look of the post, but can't tell if he's saying he now has to sort the Silver NA to come to JAE because the V8 is fooked, lol

Sorry to here this Bantambunny, hope you get it fixed mate.

Cheers guys, it's the old NA. The V8 is SORN and being stripped for parts when i get chance.

It still drives fine and nothing's flapping but just looking at it the front bumper is beyond repair - because it's fractured as well as split it's lost its shape and actually bent (if fibreglass can do such a thing!) :( The wing is totally f***d but repairable, indicator and fog light are smashed beyond repair but luckily have a spare set of both.

I'll pop the V8's bumper on for the time being and try and straighten the wing mounts back into place tomorrow night when i get back but should be alright for JAE all being well unless i find anything bad underneath

Cheers for the offer buddy, unfortunately it's those fibreglass zcentre vented wings (venoms?) on the passenger side.

Hopefully it's salvageable as it's just the front that's fractured not the entire length but i need to really take it off to get it to fit properly

mate look in the items for sale , damien is selling vented wings from zcenter

Cheers buddy, i did spot that but at this moment in time i can't afford £150 anyway and for less i should be able to get a fiberglass builder to repair it all being well.

It's going to be a bit beyond me to get it all off without destroying everything!
