I dont think alot of people are using the Japspeed stuff yet ive got DW front upper arms and tension rods fitted now and looking at other ones on the market and seeing threads where collars have broken on upper arms from cheaper models i must say the the DW ones are built very well

The DW kit does seems to be decent quality and of course it's track proven on the DW car/s but I've recently had a look at the Japspeed kit (which looks very similar) and I figured that it's likely to also be of decent quality, having also been tried and tested on track with the Japspeed drift cars in BDC.

I didn't realise until the other day that Japspeed supplied lower arms and lower suspension braces for the zed

Likewise, how does the Japspeed radiators and fmics compare to say, the Koyorad and Greddy/HKS equivelent?

cheers

Hey Guys, Just thought I would chip in on this thread.

All our items are made of the highest quality materials to be long lasting and extremely durable. As Jap.Slapper has said we use our own products on our drift-cars and have done for years, by doing this it has been a test on the product and when ever we have seen an area for improvement changes have been made.

Obviously as a registered trader on 300XZ.co.uk we always bring you our very best prices on products, we have the items in stock and ready for dispatch to you next working day.

If one of you wishes to purchase a set and is willing to do a full report on there quality and post it back up on here then I am sure I could include a pair of our mechanics gloves and a couple of stickers :) after all I cant really budge on price as you guys get a great deal already!

regards

Paul

Mikey has a Japspeed Rad and I have a Koyo, granted I've got a standard front bumper with the number plate covering most of the top slot and he has a big mouth one, but his runs a lot cooler than mine does.

EDIT: He also had his block and heads completely flushed out while his engine was apart, so he has no sludge and rust build up inside the water channels like I do, which may also contribute to the lower temp. But essentially, I'd say the Japspeed rad is a good bet.

i have the japspeed rear camber arms and had no problem with them, they are a nice bit of kit, i also have dw front tension rods which the rubber seals are braking up and have gone very rusty as well

Yeah I've found that as well despite not actually driven a single mile, though my DW kit hasn't gone rusty

Hey Dan,

its a front lower strut brace! and fits exactly there :)

We have these in the trader section on offer for 300zx members too!

i take it this is not the one that fits over the top of the engine so where does it fit? i like it!! Japspeed Nissan 300zx Front Lower Strut Brace

dan.

It braces the tension arms mounts, does'nt go anywhere near the struts.

Its usually called a Front Lower arm brace or Front tension rod brace.
