I have an import and its my first MOT with my Zed since I bought her almost a year ago.

I don't have a flog light on the back and pretty sure there wasn't one at the last MOT, its just obvious there wasn't one.

Do any other import owners here get away without having a rear fog light, do the garage ever just let it slide as they know imports don't usually have a rear fog, or will I have to fit one?

Also, is there any legal requirement about the internal switch? I was thinking about using a switch on my pod (I have a Cruise Control pod, but no Cruise for example)?

Cheers!

Depends on your garage, Ive known many who have missed/not checked them and still do. mine came with the centre panel mod so I dont have to bother bolting one on.

We all have fog lights on our imports, one way or the other.

Some just have it work just for the one day.

You must have a switch in the cockpit and there must be an illumination that denotes it is on, so put it where you want.

If your MOT place is overlooking it, then you should really not be using them

Convert either one of your rear lights or reverse lights to be dual purpose fog, rather than having to bolt on an unsightly aftermarket item that you hideaway.

If you convert a single rear light it must be on the drivers side, provided of course it is a RHD smiley-face-thumb.gif

If I bolt an ugly one on does that have to be on the drivers side? I probably would have went for the centre.

Centre is fine. Must be fitted to centre or offside (Drivers) side

I didnt have one for 4 years and got away with it everytime
