Adjusting the clutch

I know it's been discussed in loads of other threads but I'm struggling with mine.

I've undone the lock nut on the pedal side of the clutch booster and I need to unwind the fork a bit to raise the pedal up a bit. Manual and searches say to adjust the rod lenght by turning it with a pair of pliers.

How do you do this? I can get pliers on it but there's no room to move them when you do! at the rate I'm going it'll be about 10 years before I've moved it enough:blink:. Does anyone have any tips to make this easier?

Clutch works fine but the biting point is about an inch off the floor. lol

If you follow the rod that has the thread on that connects to the pedal side at the end there is a rough part that you can get at with some angled long nose pliers. Also watch for locking nuts :D

I know its a pain bud........

The rod that goes into the clutch master cylinder is also adjustable , i had to wind mine out a fair bit for it to work right , to get to it take the nuts off the master cylinder , move it out of the way to gain access to the rod protruding out of the clutch servo and you,ll see the end of the rod has a domed headed screw in end that screws in and out for adjustment .HTH
