Driving to work this morning and the car was fine till the carriageway where it accellerated fine through to third popped in to fourth and not much power.

Managed to limp to work with a rough and louder car the idling was irregular, initially she'd rev with the clutch in but that worsened. After about 10 mins some but not loads of black smoke from the exhaust. By the time i got to work it was hardly revving or accelerating.

Any idea's guy?

It's a TT, Haven't seen any pipes off yet, gonna try getting under the car now.

Now she's cooled down, she start rev's ok but not to full level, pop's a little when lifting off the throttle and a small amount of black smoke form the exhaust.

cheers guys

Check all your vac pipes too, under the throttle bodies back to the balance bar, sounds like one has popped off causing a vac leak.
