On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being that a cack handed spanner biff could do it, 10 being professional mechanics only)

1. I've got a 95' spec fuel rail with Nismo 740cc injectors fitted in the LWB and I was wondering, how easy/difficult would it be to do a direct swap (on my driveway) for the stock rail/injectors that are currently in the shortie'?

2. Forged internals and turbo/s swap is an engine out job, no alternative (yes/no)?

3. The AEM EMS that I have, used to be fitted to the same zed that the forged engine came out of, Could I fit the AEM EMS to the shortie' before it's driven up to Protuner for its re-map or should it be swapped once up there (probably didn't explain that very well, does it have a safety mode etc)?

cheers fellas

only way for the tubs is engine out although i have heard some crazy fool did them with engine in but its not worth it you cant get it all tight properly

injectors is plenum off bit of a pain but achievable and may as well do plenum coolant bypass

swap the AEM once you get there have it all ready then its only the one bolt on the ecu :)

Edited by Gonzo12c

As far as i was aware you had to also fit a 94+ lower plenum for the 94+ fuel rail to fit or at least do some work to it.

Guess you'll find out what work when you come to fit the rail lol

Oh and whilst a small minorty may advocate you can swap the tubs with engine in, forged internals being fitted as well, you'd be nuts not to take the engine out.
