Just had some paint work done on the front and I have 2 options where to put my plate :) The old position was on the front of the bumper and my new position is underneath on a hinge so I can hide it at shows... but I think its made my car look a little plain at the front and seems like something missing? what do you guys think? where should it go ?

CheerZ Lee, yeh.. quite tough decision, thats why i`m asking the experts :flowers:thanks mate

And also the bottom picture the plate is on a hinge..just for shows so it can be hidden, but I had a nice drive out to the lakes on Sunday and when I got there the plate had hidden itself automaticly on the motor way and not dropped back down :clown:

I voted top, btw what is the measurement of that plate Daz? i need one for mine and that one looks the right size

Cheers Chris, i like both positions, but at the bottom it makes it look a little goofy

I've gone for the top as well.....

......I think that the front number plates spoil all cars here in the UK or Europe; the Americans have the right idea about not needing one!!

But, I think that it looks far worse when we try to hide the number plate or mount it in a stupid place (like to one side - WTF is that all about???).

If we must have front number plates, then leave them where they are supposed to be IMO!

Richard:winkiss:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yeah at the bottom but a little forwards like Phil said. thats how i have also done mine :)

I'm not so sure Daz...

I think I prefer the bottom one but it makes your bench turn a funny colour so I'd say leave it at the top.

Offer the 3/4 plate on the bumper and gouge the shape out with a stanley knife, then dremel it out fully, then sink the number plate making a flush mount.........simples, dolloping some silicone on the edges all round to tidy it up headachesmiley.gif you can get black!!
