it'll be the sender, pretty easy to change next time you do an oil change, simply unscew the old one and scew in the new one :)

Thats why i said usually lol, the sender in the TT.net thread is next to the oil filter.

iirc if its on the drivers side like mine is, it comes on the oil feed to the turbos pipe so if your quick, you shouldn't loose much oil when changing it.

Mines a Turbo and pretty sure mines on the left passenger side too!

Mines on passenger side as well....

If you jack up the front of the car and look at the bottom of the dipstick tube, you will see the wire for the oil pressure sender going to the rubber boot/cover.

In this pic its the yellow unit behind the engine mount ( circled)

None listed on ebay over the weekend but I enquired and rung Chris at Conceptia today and I have now ordered one, still £34.99 delivered

I did consider a OEM one but the cheapest I could find was £54 from the USA and if Gerry says these are fine well that's good enough for me awesome-.gif

UPDATE : Amazingly the oil sender arrived next day with free candy - highly recommended smiley-dance.gif
