well i thought i would start taking my zed apart today! my origanal plan was to take the engine out as i thought i had a shagged tubo or 2!

Anyway i thought i would take the plenum off as im doing a water bypass and i have fitted new injector plugs and coil plugs today and while i was there i thought i would take a look at the turbo pipes etc to look for oil and im pleased to say there is very little in my pipes so im guessing the turbos are in ok condition.

However it does leave me a bit confused as i was getting blue smoke on idle depending on what way the wind was blowing! lol so im hopping its due to the crap connectors on both the coil packs and the injectors if not im not sure what else it could be!!

can take a few thousand miles for the crap from the pcvs to clear out. might be worth doing a leak down test, while your busy.

i did do the pcv valves when i bought the car as i was given them free with the car. I have just discovered that oil is getting in the plugs from the rockers!! would this give me blue smoke?

sure its dribbling in? would have thought it would struggle to get past tbh. but certainly yes it would cause the smoking if oil was getting in there
