anyone got a set of the z33 rays alloys fitted, the fronts are 225 with an offset of +30 so should sit lovely. the rears are however are 245 with an offset of +33 how would that sit? only other thing im wondering is that at 18" with a profile of 45 will they not be slightly larger than the standard oem diameter? and cause speedo issues etc?

See my rides for pics and tyre sizes. The tyres are sized to compensate for the larger wheel

cheers mate. got my eye on a few sets of wheels these being one of them. i wonder if the 45 profile on them will cause issues. cant go splashing out on new tyres aswel esp when the ones on the set im looking at are nearly new

With the '99 spec bits and the smooth nose, those rims look SOOOOO right.

Very nice Phil, very nice indeed mate :)

Cheers Peach. If you were closer i'd be sending it to you for a detail. Its never had a final machine polish since it was painted.

The Z33 wheels are the right offset for a Z32 but you will have to alter the tyre sizes a little as the 45 profile is too high with 18s.

For 18 inch wheels you'll need a 40 profile on the front and a 35 profile on the rear. You can keep with the 225 and 245 widths with those profiles but you might be better going wider at 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 (or even 265/35/18).

im looking at several wheels atm i do like the rays but im also looking at some works aswel. but the rears are offset 33 running 245 tyres on a 265 rim i believe. they are both about the same money. just cant decide atm

apprantly the works ones are 245 wide with an offset of 33. so by my maths i did

(245/2)-33=89.9 i then measured from the hub face this much out giving me a a pretty damn nice stance. but then thats my first ever go at working it out.
