OK. WTF is ICQ? NE1?

It's basically messaging software with chat support - anyone else who's online you can either chat with them or send them a message! You can download the software from www.icq.com

Does that answer your question? ;)

I'm with Nico on this, lets get everyone on MS Messenger. It doesn't crash and your contacts are stored on the net so if you need to re-install or use it on another pc, you won't have to go round all your contacts trying to get permission to add them to your list again.

Andy

I am with Nico on this, MS Instant Messanger is much better, also, I am not allowed to use ICQ here, they banned it at work !!

Nico, get me your messanger hotmail address.

Dan

My appologies to those that have been messaging me after hours and at the weekend, the PC is at work and is left on 24 /7 as a rule for backup perposes, so i usually aint on after 8pm at night, and at weekends but any other time feel free to drop us a line.

Just thought I'd bring this one back up the list. MSN tends to be better for most people as far as I can see. Most nights Nico, Davew, sometimes Craig and of course me are on from around 6(ish). My hotmail account is andrewduff60@hotmail.com if you wanna add me to your list.

Come an' have some fun.....

Andy

Those of you that have Xwindows/unix could ssh to an outside host, and tunnel the X back through ssh and use a linux based icq/messenger/yahoo client if you wanted...

(Craig, can use my machine for that if you like).

Sid

Good to hear from you Sid- just wish I knew what you were saying LOL!

Dave

oooh nooo sid's speaking linex, now if you convert that to english maby some of the guys would understand lol

Thought I would try MSN out.

I am :-

eddiecrazy@hotmail.com
