not been around for the last few weeks my wifes mum had not been feeling well for a couple of months but despite making doctors appointments she wouldnt go just kept taking pain killers! but in early july it got so bad she finally gave in and went to see her gp, alarm bells starting ringing as she was whisked off to the local hospital for tests and within hours we were told they could do nothing for Sylvia! test and scans showed cancer had set in and that she had been living with it for years!! Sylvia passed away on the 11th of july just a week after being admitted and we have since found out that cancer was in the pancreas the ovaries and into the stomach and that Sylvia declined scans for we dont know how long. I guess in finishing i would tell all mothers, wifes daughters ect make sure you have regular scans especially if you are over 50 so another family is not left as devestated as we are with no warning!

thanks for all your kind messages, Sylvia was buried last friday and is now resting in peace right next to her beloved grandson Tyler! she would have been so pleased with that we are sure.

Always sad to read your posts on Facebook about Sylvia Dan... But like i've said already she's at piece now, no more pain and up there with Ty, both of them having a jolly good old time dancing and playing around looking down on you all!! Time to celebrate her life as you, your friends and your family have always done with Tyler!! God bless them both! ;-)

My mum in law has just had some 'lumps' tested and are waiting for the results....fingers crossed! Horrible waiting!
