well the new zed was up to get it's first mot last week and got a phone call at 4 today saying it failed the mot only on the horn and rear brake pads no big deal easy enough to put right have a new set of pads sitting here anyway. So I carry on with my work and my mechanic phones me back half an hour later bad news he says all I thought was what else has it failed on now, however no the police were round while the car was at the mot centre on Sunday morning the place got broke into as did my car and 4 others, things I know that's gone are my touchscreen tv and DVD player going up tomorrow to find out what else only other thing I know I had in the car was the polished slam panel was on the back seat so will check see if they took that

They were caught on CCTV but the images aren't enough to identify the 2 guys. I know I was removing the ice to install the iPad but its not the point. Glad I didn't have the full setup in with all the amps subs ect

:( Sorry to hear this, surely your luck with Z's has got to change soon. Hope they get the guy's and you get your stuff back, if not the garages insurance should fork out. the garage is responsible if the car is in their possession.

Have you got receipts Del just in case?

Na I got that stuff over 4 years ago got lots of receipts for all my zed stuffnbut I originally bought them for my mr2

Its just that insurance companies are fussy as feck and if you put a claim in, will be looking to pay out bottom dollar rather than top dollar!

terrible spelling

Well was up today no damage to the car as the door was open only things they have took are the tv and DVD player didn't take any of the connectors for them though idiots. The garage owner is in Rome till Monday so got to wait to sort it out.

 

Defo not stopping me doing the iPad install need it even more now I have no stereo lol

 

I have got pics of it in the zed as I had the stuff up for sale

 

Its all on CCTV them going into my car and taking it so there is no dispute on what got stole
