I know a few on the forum have these, is anyone running 10" rims on the back, if so any issues running them?

Ive just picked up a set, 18X8 front and 18X10 rears ET35 all round. Trial fitted them today and it looks like once I get tyres on its going to be really tight at the back. Probably have to reshape the exhaust slightly, for starters, anything else to watch out for?

Stainless trims are missing, but I can live with that at the moment

I noticed lol! cant get back in to edit it

You'll want a hefty spacer on the front to bring them out, for a decent stance. 20mm ideally.

The rears are on the limit, clearance without rubbing the arch will depend on tyre size and ride height.

Cheers,

I think the fronts are sitting about the same as stock, I was thinking on going for a 15mm spacer to bring it out.

The backs are what are worring me there isnt as much room as i thought there would be, going to go for 265/35/18's. The rim is sitting close to the spring, clears it but not by much and the tyres are going to be pretty near the exhaust so I dont want to go too wide.

Cars sitting on stock suspension. Probably have to drop it a bit if I ever get the wheels on.

I've got a set of 309s on mine, i'm not sure on the width on them but i found my front ones needed a little bit of spacing to get them sitting right but the back were perfect but i think they're 9.5s

Cheers, can I ask did you manage to find spigot rings for yours, Ive spent all night hunting the internet but cant find the correct size other than someone wanting over £100 for a set

I have these and The same sizes. The back sits perfect in my opinion!!!

Have a look at my rides or possibly my facebook (lee norton, I'm sitting with a White top on my profile pic), there's loads of pictures of the car with the wheels so u can see exactly how they fit

Spigot rings? Do you mean the spacers?

I bought some 20mm bolt on spacers from Andy Isherwood for the fronts but one i'd dropped it they looked fine on the car and my dad needed them instead.

I think my fronts definately need bringing out but dont know what size spacers to get

Spigot rings are fitted to the centre hole of the wheels to match the hub spigot size. It ensures that the wheels are fitted centraly to prevent balance issues and are also designed to take part of the load of the studs.

Not a problem with manufacturers wheels which are designed to match, but aftermarket wheels generally have a larger centre hole so that they can be fitted to a wide range of vehicles.

I'll wait and see what the stance is like once they are fitted before deciding on spacers then :)
