Lastnight I stripped my boot out to start tidying up my audio (get rid of the horrible sub box and hide the amps and cables, install new carpet etc) However, when I lifted the space saver wheel out the floor is all rusty. I gave it a good tap in several places and it all seems sound. It dosnt look pleasent and wiped my hand over left my hands orange! What do you guys recommend doing with it?

Thanks, Dan

Remove the rust with a grinder/drill brass brush, coat with dinitrol converrust and repaint. Then find where the water is getting in.

this fix assumes that it is just surface rust.
