last nite i pressed the fob button to turn alarm/central locking on, turned away and seconds later the alarm starts blaring. after it finally stopped, it went off again, this went on for about 15 mins before finnaly stopping and i could lock it with the key.

i know its not the fob because that still turns the immobisier off,

it blew the indicator fuse which i replaced but now i get nothing from the fob when i try and turn the alarm on. ive checked every fuse in both boxes and all are good. all this happened after doing a oil change just in case that did anything?

any ideas wecome

You might have to go see an autoelectrician and it may just be the alarm itself that's borked. Mine does all kinds of weird things, getting mine replaced eventually, but £400 is a lot of money when I have one that works.

Could be the alarm door actuators that centrally lock the doors not functioning correctly, thus sending a signal to the alarm base saying, door not locked, and setting the alarm off.

This happened to me, new drivers door alarm actuator and all sorted. HTH buddy...
