Hey Guys,

Might sound stupid but is there any way that you can mod the original exhaust to give good deep sound??

Cheers!

Tbh i am after deep sound rather than massively loud, any way to achieve that without changing exhaust? I rather keep the stock on there as i prefer the classic look.

Mongoose isn't too loud and is quite close to stock in appearance

Was a mongoose on ebay earlier in the week.....

really if you want to change the sound of the standard system your gonna have to change something, you wont achieve this with without doing so,

alot of aftermarket systems look alot like the standard system if thats what your after... theres one on ebay ill be getting i think, same 4 pipes

thb i wouldnt waist your time or money doing anything original exhaust system just fit an aftermarket system.

What about removing the box at the front? would that not give a deeper sound?

As someone said before, the Mongoose system sounds nice and looks relatively standard. I think mine is a mongoose after looking at the pictures of others, I've got a video in the Media section, although mine is de-catted as well, so it's very loud.

it would but by the time you have brought the pipe to replace, paid someone to cut and weld, brought new exhaust gaskets and bolts i dont think you would be far of the cost of a new shinny stainless steel system. just my thoughts :thumbup1:
