essbeee Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 has anyone got or tried to fit 15in rims on z32 swb......someone has offered me some A15 hillclimb slicks for the car ....and am interested in any thoughts cheers Quote
Stephen Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 i recon you would have issues with even stock caliper clearance, plus the decrease in diameter without the decrease in tyre diameter(to prevent all that sidewall slop) you would end up with tiny diamter wheels that will spin up for a passion. not to mention speedo issues which obviously are less important to yourself, but may effect the variable speed power steering response. I agree about the caliper clearance...... .......best stick with the standard size I reckon! Richard:chef: Quote I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
essbeee Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 I'll be happy to keep the 245/40/17 on the front ....wheel spin can be sorted ditching first and pulling away in second......seems to be enough clearance on rears! Quote
Stephen Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 yeh well its upto you really, the smaller diameter may even give you quicker acceration point to point which would be usefull to yourself. suck it and see? Quote
