It looks like I may need some ... I don't want anything flash, or to pay a fortune, but obviously want them to be safe !

The wheel nut "tunnel" is 28mm diameter, if that is relevant ?

Any recommendations or link to known good ones would be appreciated :)

I think its more a case of the socket fitting ? but tbh I dunno as never needed them before !

All I know is my wheel brace won't fit :p

Edited by Bartflaster

I have standard wheel nuts but need a skinny socket for my wheels - got one from halfords with a shiny new breaker bar - as I discovered once a skinny socket without a bar to use it with is a) useless and b) embarassing.:blushing: A few tyre fitters need to use mine as they didnt have a skinny socket either!

Mine require a slimline socket like Alz suggested. Good excuse to get some nice shiny new ones to go with your wheels though bud.

Righto, so standard size shiny new wheel nuts (TBH was gonna replace them anyway as existing ones seem to be mix and match) are 22mm ? (or isn't there a standard size ?).

Whats the search term as "slim socket" or "narrow socket" isn't finding anything !

hollandrob are they the actual ones you have ? good quality ?

these were the exact ones, but to be fair the quality isnt awsomme, but i needed them quick and cheap, the chrome has startd to flake inside a few of them :-( but that might be the style to look for if you need slimline

I have some also ones that came with my wheels and inside go rusty really quick so i would say try and get black ones
