What started out as a small hole on my inner sill ended up as a bit of a mission!!! 5 hours later and i have a soild sill again so much for a quick patch! Now i have 3 more SMALL HOLES to tackle! But i wont be beaten and i wont be breaking it!

I decided to re schultz the whole of the seal as the rear was a bit dodgy

If you dont have a spray booth then improvise... Hair dryer and a heater does the trick! Lol

Well i started as a pigeon shit welder but after owning a few suzuki sj's i had to teach my self how to weld. Its pretty easy just need to be brave when cutting out the crap metal and clean metal is a must. I must admit when i see you lot scrapping zeds because of rust i think they could be repaired. Only took day and bit to do mine.

you should start doing it as a side line sure you would make some decent cash bud:-)

Thanks for nice comments i think ill tackle the other side after jap fest as i know ill start it and something will stop me being able to go otherwise! Lol

Looks good, but did you 'fill' in the seam between the wing and the sill?!?!?!?

I might of, just a little! I dont intend to remove the wing less i prank it so i will have to replace wing anyway. But good eyes!
