Where's the best play to get gray paint for the Z in an aerosol? Halfords list it as a mixed in store but I wouldn't trust them to mix up identical twins let alone paint!

 

Ideally want a few tins for my bumpers.

look on yell.com see if you have a local autopaints around. They did mine and was a good match.

Mine didn't match up TBH (was TK3 Blue) but thats more likely due to the colour itself and possability of variances between JDM and UK shades of the same code.

But as you want to do bumpers, they may not be suitable as they are only little 300ml cans, so wouldn't work out too cheap !

I get mine made up in autoparts pontypridd just off the b&q round about just off a470. Just take the colour you need matching up to them and they mix it up for you i paid £13 a can

i get my AH3 mixed up at halfrauds, and the color match is spot on matey. painted my rear bumper, front bumper and rear spoiler with halfrauds, mixed paint, and it comes with a fan spread spray nozzle on it, unlike the ones you pick up off the shelf that give a DOT spray pattern and end up leaving run marks, or running out due to crappy coverage before you have done the size of a postage stamp :blink:

 

please note, due to lack of lacquer and also speed humps, the paint was coming off the front bumper on this photo, its now sorted :lol:

 

Thanks for the replies, just found new inn paints just up the road which will mix to KH2 code for £11.40 a can 400ml :thumbup:

mine is kh2 have used the halfrauds stuff for my fog light ducts take a look at my pics for how it matches

i got some bayside blue mixed up at halfords for my old zed and they got it spot on :D
