iv seen one here somewhere and cant find it now, im in the middle of fitting mine and i dont like the way those brackets turn when fitted, poor design a fixed bar should be between the two cos from what i can make out if them centre brackets ever moved the rear wheels would too, this wouldnt happen with a fixed bar.

shall i just fit it and shut up?:stupid::stupid:

Use a bolt and a get a washer big enough to cover the bush but small enough to go through the hole where the bush sits. A large socket that will sit on the bush housing but not the bush, place a nut and washer on the bolt the other side of the socket and ratchet away till the bush is pulled out the hole.

There seems to be a ball joint on the outer side that I can't get off,

the inner side is has a small bolt that holds a washer / cover !

I can't seem to find a way to put a bolt the whole way through !

Heat is much needed on this bud, get your self a blow torch and warm them up. it took me 2 days before i turned to heat and they came straight out with a good smack of a hammer. Worst job i have ever come across but some peoples are far easier!!

mines fine jon did it on me own so no distractions! lol only thing i did do was replace with stainless washers and locking washers for extra security, not a fan of heating up and beating the old bushes out so invested in the tool in pics and they push out easy peasy! first need to get the old hicas balljoint out about 5mm so the puller/pusher can fit so used a large socket with a washer and nut tightened up moves it out enough, if it spins then with a small hacksaw cut away at the lip top and bottom so the pusher/puller can sit and away you go:clap: got some pics so you can see.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I stumbled across it while looking for something else and am now confused.

We've just fitted this kit to mine, and are looking to fit it to Roses and Mikeys in the coming months. We have fitted the longer bolt on the arm joint near the sub frame, as opposed to the shorter of the longer bolts, however we've fitted it in reverse to the pictures above. So the head of the bolt is the subframe side of the joint, with the threads coming out towards the rear of the car.

We did this because it did not appear possible to put it in, in the opposite direction, with the threads going through the subframe. I don't have the car for another hour or so, it's getting the sills painted, I'll check it when I get it back, but can anyone show a picture of the hole in the subframe that this longer bolt is supposed to go through? Because from memory (We only fitted it on Sunday), my subframe does not have a hole that the bolt could go through.
