Hi All,

Had a quick search but couldn't find much.

I'm planning on getting a Stack oil temp, oil pressure and boost gauge - the cheaper mechanical or electrical ones.

Any advise on the pros and cons such as ease of installation etc?

Thanks,

Tom

if your going Stack you would be spending your money better if you get the complete stack dash , speedo rev counter , ancilliaries etc etc ....it does not cost much more to get a new digital dash is spoooky green than it would getting the stack digital gauge modules...and it would look much neater

I can get the 3 dials for 120-160... as far as I am aware dashes were 600+ ?

Thanks,

Tom

I have the 3 stack gauges on my A pillar, 52mm.

I have the water temp gauge instead of oil temp and would recommend you get the same, boost and oil pressure as well as you state.

Got Graham to illuminate them in blue instead of the white and they look top drawer :cool3:

Mechanical - You need to feed pressurised hot oil and water pipes into your interior.

Electrical - Sender units reside in the Engine bay and you just feed a electrical wire into the Interior.

Mechanical is fine for Boost, and is the only type really fitted as mechanical these days, but stick to Electrical for the others.
