Hi, posted a while ago in the Club Membership and Enquiries but I dont think many people read that :)

 

Its an app for your smartphones (Apple, Android, Symbian) that allows you to read (properly) the club forum.

 

Any chance of getting the coding added to here so we can use it?

It would mean a more active forum as most of us are restricted at work as to what we can view/post.

Im sure there are plenty of people who could testify/back me up as to what a good app it is and how well it works.

just got it Jay its cool .....it works very well ..i am restricted at work with the firewall for pics and stuff ..so it would be a benefit on here for me for deffo

Works with this sites current version of vBulletin, and it is free. No real reason not to use it.

 

Simple to implement too.

Jaikai would be the man to speak to about this. There's an addon for VBulletin, but we're still running VB3.7.2 on here, so I dunno whether there's an addon for this version or not, it's knocking on a bit now.

There are changes afoot for vBulletin, so lets wait until we have the upgrade in place before we talk about add-ons. What you want may have been provided already !

It's not built in to VB4, it's an addon/separate ap that runs along side it. On the upside, I did just check and there is a mod available for VB 3.7

Now that the forum is using vBulletin Version 4.1.10, is there any chance of Tapatalk being implemented?

It works very well.

 

Had it running over the road for a few months and it means you're not chained to the PC or Laptop. If you have Tapatalk paid app... (dead Cheap) you can Post and Reply to Post, PM, Moderate etc and it only takes a couple of finger taps to do

No the site uses Forum Runner, as far as I know there are no plans to use tapatalk.

Currently its Forum Runner and theres no plan set to change for now.

May as well get used to Forum Runner then because it's not being changed.

I find using the forum on my phone just as good if not better than using an app.

im always on the forum via my blackberry and apart from my phone being crap for memory and constantly kicking me out of pages i get on great how it is :)
