Can anyone recommend a good alternator belt for a 1990 tt

It's a jap spec engine so I understand its a different size to a UK one

I'm using an aluminum underdrive pully that makes the belt sounds a little noisy

Any idea what size I need and a good make to use

I believe the Jap and UK TT are the same belts, N/A is different, but if you are using a lightened under pulley then all the belts are smaller. Give MJP a ring, he will be able to sort you out.

Ah great it probably is the underdrive pulley being smaller and that's the reason why I need a different belt to standard , any good makes or are they all basically the same

It's the water pump pulley that is slightly smaller on jap specs mate, that uses a smaller belt.
