Have been looking at the rear arches, and remembering how they sometimes used to foul the wheels over bumpy ground.

i dont want to go down the wide arch kit route as lets face it its been done plenty already.

So was wondering what drift style arches there are available that could be used to give more clearance.

My favourite idea at the moment is to see if i could make some out of a set of cut up front wings, that way the shape would suit the lines of the car perfect with the front.

Anybody ever done this or seen one done??? And could it be done???

You need something like M3 arches. Alternatively you get them extended by an old school metal fabricator if you can find one. I think someone on here mentioned an Aston Martin guy once - not sure.

Who rolled and flared ur rear arches zedx?

Alz.

Hi Alan,

came like that from Japan, when I bought the car I thought all zed's were like that until someone pointed them out at a meeting.

I am.......

just my luck that you are 160miles away, lol.

but in your opinion, do you think it would be a possibility to try and use some old front wings cut up and adapted to be used to allow a inch or so of the rear arch to be removoved and raised, and give a inch of width extra clearence?.

Anythings possible with a good fabricator. My old supra needed some and the guy threw away a rubbish universal pair and hand made a pair into factory look from sheet.Cost me a bit more but they were lovely.

You need some one who knows what an English wheel is

Any pics?.

Could do with finding a fabricator local and see if i can get a good price.

Suppose theres no harm in me giving it a try first tho. If they look rubbish can always remove them.
